Easter Preparations
All homes have been busy preparing for Easter. Our residents definitely have an artistic flare-these Easter bonnets are looking wonderful.
Fantastic Fundraiser
On Saturday, March 23rd 2019, Cathy O’Reilly undertook a zip wire challenge in aid of Alzheimers Research. A true inspiration to all who know her, Cathy raised a fantastic £805. Everyone here at Abbeyside Care Group is very proud of her and honoured to be able to call her a friend.
Bus Trip
The Abbeyside bus visited Portgordon and Findochty on Tuesday. While on our travels we were fortunate enough to see the seals.
Pluscarden Abbey
We’ve all bee enjoying this weeks nice weather. On Monday, residents from the Grove decided to take advantage of the lovely weather with a visit to Pluscarden Abbey.
Baby Shower
Friday was also the day of the long awaited baby shower. Residents have been busy helping arrange a baby shower for a much loved member of staff.
Mad Hatters Tea Party
Jam tarns and Earl Grey tea!! On Friday, residents and staff at Abbeyside, held a mad hatters tea party in support of Red Nose Day. We would like to thank everyone who came to support us-your kind donations are appreciated and will really make a difference.
The Travelling Mini Bus
The Abbeyside mini bus has been out on its travels again-this time to Duffus Castle, Hopeman and Lossiemouth.
The weather might have been a little blustery, but nothing could dampen our spirits!!!

Bodysurf Scotland
Residents have been keeping active with their weekly dance class, run by Bodysurf Scotland. The class is always popular with residents and staff encouraging each other along.
Happy St David’s Day / Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus
A little bit of Wales came to Elgin on Friday as residents and staff celebrated St David’s Day. With Sosban Fach and Delilah sung with enthusiasm and a supply of welsh cakes , a great day was had by all.
